I've had enough of the rust on my front fenders. I've heard they bolt on, and I've heard they weld on. Anyone ever replaced one? are the a big PIA? thanks!

 

Call me....I have done 2 sets. My truck and my dad's. Now I can help you do something LOL. They are spot welded to the inner fender. I drill the spot welds, hang the new fender and then weld the inner tot he new outer. Easy peesy.....

It's not hard really....I can probably do them both in a couple hours now and I am no body man.

 

wow really! i have been trying like hell to find a set that is good to go but people want way to much money for them so i am going to buy a set off lmc trucks i think and give it a shot! so i should be able to do it in a weekend?
