Default loosen power after 2200rpms

I have a 95 cummins after 2200 it just flatins out no more power. i had the star screw turned all the way forward an it didnt smoke much at all. then i moved it back some an moved the plate all the way forward it made alittle diff. on bottom end but still flatins out. Has anyone had this problem or now what i can do to fix it.

The stock govenor springs only fuel to about 2200 and free rev to about 2500. I would suggest installing a 3000 rpm govenor spring kit to help your top
end power.

I would upgrade the valve springs before putting the 4k kit in.

Depends on what you want to do with the truck. I didnt upgrade springs. my truck never sees 3200 rpm. but if i want to i already got the Gov springs. Id rather do the GSK once. do 4000's and be done with it. imo

as long as you set them right and get your idle right, you might have a slight surge but nothing to bad. 4k's are fun even if you do drive like a grandpa. i just look at it like this. if you want to do the 3k's thats fine, still will wake the truck up. but if you wanna do more with the truck just do it and be done with it. just because you have them doesnt mean you got to use it
