I thought you were asking why your truck looses power @2200 rpms ?

right i am, but i already turn the screw forward 6 or 8 months ago an i recently found out that it dont give more power or rpms just makes it smoke alot . Didnt know much about it a time learning more scence i found this site. thanks for everybodys help

this is true, just be careful when you let your buddy barrow your truck.

Just puttin this out there, did you have your truck fixed for the throttle linkage recall? They loose power after 2200 rpms!

no i sure didnt i didnt know anything about it thanks . . When i turned the star screw forward it didnt smoke any more . i forgot i mention that before. the old man i got it off of bought it new an just lugged it around an didnt pull anything would that hurt it? ive put about 110 thousand miles on it scence

If you go with the 4gsk put in the 60lb valve springs or else your stock valve springs will float, if your going to do it might as well do it right and finish the job instead of just putting in the gsk and having to mentally control yourself and anyone else you drives it to not go over x amount of rpms

Unless your sled pulling or drag racing i dont see the point in getting heavy valve springs. If your driving around town floating the valves all the time then you need more than valve springs you need a brain. ( not you specifically ) just people in general. I love the throttle response with my 4000gsk. and im not towin a trailer at 3500-4000 rpms so i dont need them. imo
