anyone know of a good place to get a tps sensor for a 1998 12v mine is bad keep locking and unlocking converter

not a whole lot of places you can buy them, i got mine at a local transmission shop.

Autozone, Advanced Auto parts, junkyard, basically any auto parts store will have them!

 

Have you tried cleaning yours?? They are sealed units but if your carefull you can open it up and clean it out with some electrical cleaner and dry it out good with a blow dryer. i have fixed a couple this way. you will know if thats why its acting up they will draw moisture and it will be croded inside. Its worth a shot may save you some $$$

 

dont mean to hijack your thread but where is the sensor and how you get it off? pics would be sweet
