Default 370's???

what should i do to my truck tuning wise if im adding a set of these??? im gettin a deal on a set tommorow, i know i need a turbo but for now what can i do to keep this thing safe?

Running more air to keep that motor cool, and keep your eye on that egt gauge. It's gonna roll coal and put them temps up there a bit!

use thin injector washers and bump your timing

X2 on the washers and timing. Slide your plate back a bit.

Mine are fairly clean with the thin washers and I am having my timing bumped to 16* and it should be even better. i was told there were different sets of 370's though and some are a bit cleaner....I don't know how true that is or if it's total BS.

the better ones have a modified spray pattern for truck pistons instead of the marine pistons.

how far back should i slide it? and will i lose power by doing this or will the injectors make up for the fuel

My plate is FF and I can hit 1200* pretty quick but I don't run the sack off my truck and I keep and eye on the pyro when I do get on it.

they are hot injetors unless you get the aftermarkets like new era
