Running more air to keep that motor cool, and keep your eye on that egt gauge. It's gonna roll coal and put them temps up there a bit! :tu:

use thin injector washers and bump your timing

X2 on the washers and timing. Slide your plate back a bit.

Mine are fairly clean with the thin washers and I am having my timing bumped to 16* and it should be even better. i was told there were different sets of 370's though and some are a bit cleaner....I don't know how true that is or if it's total BS.

the better ones have a modified spray pattern for truck pistons instead of the marine pistons.

rollincoal12valve 01-25-2010 03:16 PM

how far back should i slide it? and will i lose power by doing this or will the injectors make up for the fuel

PhilipR 01-25-2010 03:17 PM

My plate is FF and I can hit 1200* pretty quick but I don't run the sack off my truck and I keep and eye on the pyro when I do get on it.
