My cruise just stoped working. Somebody said that our trucks do that and its a recal and the dodge house will fix it? any info plz

 

I've noticed with mine that, when i turn the cruise control on, and set cruise. it doesn't work but if i press the resume accel button a few times it kicks on. Yours doing the same thing?

 

Mine quit working it wouldnt set it would come on but not set and it was a broken vacume line there is a small black plastic line that goes down ther check it for any leaks.

 

clock spring behind the air bag in the steering colum thats what the recall is for same thing happened to mine. pretty tricky to do it yourself the part itself is pricey and you have to work around the air bag.

 

I havent tried the resume button thing but I will. Hope its not the expensive part.

 

this is a recall iterm(clock springs) that is what will make it not work if it is not a pinched vacum line or burnt fuse. i got power going to crusie control unit, not breaks or pinched vacum line and a good fuse. so i'am taking it in to dealer for the free recall iterm.
