Thank you for posting this. On the high side the "known good" 215 pumps go for $800. They can be found cheaper. If a pump is questionable, it has little or no value. On the other hand, an engine with no pump has a much lower value than one with a pump. There are great deals out there. Take the time and look.

It would benefit the op to have the pump checked. Could make the difference between a boat anchor and a few hundred dollars.

I didn't jump into this thread to start a pissing match. I want people to get the right information and use their best judgment.
