hello everyone... so i have found a 95 12v s/c dually 5 spd . so what i am asking is what all do i need to look for when looking at this particular model ? i know to ask about the KDP and if the pump has been turned up and about the clutches ..... but i figured i wuld ask the guys with the 12valves since you all would know first hand any info would be greatly appreciated . oh it has 195 650 mi on he mtr and the pump was put on in nov.

 

You can tell alot by driving it and look for oil leaks anywere

 

i would drive it, and look it over real good for bad ball joints etc...

 

well went a fw min ago and drove the dodge .... the underside of the truck looks great still painted from factory ...and the front end is very tight so now its just a waiting game on the bank

94 Diesel Ram DTC's

I have a 94 so... didn't do any research for any of the other models, but according to the description, 94-96 used this setup for defining fault codes. At the very least, it'll tell you if the guy disconnected the battery to turn off that check engine light, if it blinks out a code 12.
