Measure it as stock and make sure you have the angle shims on hand and set it the same after you put the shorter blocks in....easy peezy.

 

you could cut the coils like duster said but dont heat them......also it may cause a lot of inside wear on your tires if you cut to much off...

 

Its a 4x4 so it has coils.

i am looking for a nice 3in drop but i like the stance on the one from compD due to the fact i don't have to worry about drive shafts and all the headaches to get it really low. i just want it lower then what it is, kinda the same height as the 2 wheel drive 2500. nothing 2 crazy! plus i have a crazy small budget due to looking at buying a house!

I'd follow the CompD thread then and do exactly as he did.....you should have similar results and it should be pretty cheap to.

 

ya i just have to find the 1" blocks for the rears! that should be fun! but have to wait till i can get it in a buddys garage!

 

haha i race too an finally made a ramp so i could ride my bike in to the bed. sucks when you got 10inches of lift
