What are you doing now Mike......
:iws:its a 4x4 why lower it:WTF:
lol well i am planning on lowering my truck phil lol!
and why lower? why lift? i mean everyone like what they like, i have never been one for the bigfoot look. plus i race motocross so to load the dirt bike up in the truck after racing all day sucks! i could be like most guys who race and buy a Toyota but i like my truck. so lowering will make it a lot easier to load up my race stuff up! plus i think it looks sweet! love the look of this truck! 2001 Dodge Ram Cummins Race Truck Quarter Mile Photo - Diesel Power Magazine Article at Automotive.com |
yeah but its a 4x4! :td:
I can see that so..... Looks like all you need to do is cut the front coil and then replace the rear blocks with a shorter set. Maybe some shorter shocks. Doesn't seem to hard to do.
lol ya but then again it is my truck! LOL
---AutoMerged DoublePost--- ya seems easy! just want to make sure i did not start this and hit a road block mid project. i mean this is my only vehicle so it can't be down long! |
:rocking: right on.....do you have torsion bars or coils?
Shorter shocks might be the only thing. Brakes hoses won't be an issue....The only thing I can see is if you cut to much out of the coil. I'd follow the same way it was done on CompD. How much you want to drop? You could take 2" out of the back and leave the front stock and basically level the truck.

as long as it doesnt throw the pinion angle off
