Default air in fuel, starts to die or does die

I have a 97 with no mods. It is hard to start almost all the time, when it does start i get a lot of white smoke and runs rough for about 30 seconds then clears up. It is now starting to die when i turn sharp and/or hit the brakes hard. Everytime I crack the bleed valve on top of the filter air bubbles come out. When i prime it with it cracked the fuel comes out clean with no bubbles. Any ideas where it could be sucking air? I cannot find any hoses that are wet with fuel and there are never any puddles on the ground after being parked. I have replaced the lift pump, no leakes there. I replaced the filter, no leaks there. I cleaned out the prescreen filter, no leaks there either. Also it seems to be worse when it 35 degrees or colder. I can get it started and let it idle for a while then it will start to die, I throttle it up and it clears up, then a few minutes later it will do it again. Once the engine is at normal operating temp it seems to be fine, again until I turn hard right, or hit the barkes hard. I almost forgot, it will do the same thing if I go over a speed bump too fast and make the truck jump hard. Any help would be very grateful. Thanks!

check the rubber hose between the lift pump and fuel heater...mine was cracked on the back side and couldnt be seen, take it off to check it...replace the rubber lines that run behind the engine, if stock then they are probably shot. also blow air into the tank thru the filler, I used an electric air mattress pump with a towel wrapped around the end to fit snug, thats how I found the leak at the top of my tank in the metal that holds the feed and return line. I replaced the stock with a draw straw and all is good, truck starts everytime and has more power now than it has had in many years. also, when the rubber feed lines leak they will suck air in without leaking fuel out so u wont see the leaks.
