tc = torque converter
tps = throttle position sensor

The TPS is a small plastic black box attached to the throttle linkage with 2 screws. It has a 3 wire connector that plugs into the end.

I really like my DTT trans. You also can't go wrong with suncoast or goerend. I would say at the least, you'll be looking for a torque converter and a valve body. I'm sure someone else will chime in here on what you should upgrade, but what I did was found a DTT builder near where I lived at the time and told him my goals and what I did with my truck and he gave me a rundown of all the parts I should upgrade.
