could be your brake light switch or your tps or the lock up solinoid on the tranny or the converter

thank u for the answers
what means tc ?
tps?

daveO 12-27-2009 11:36 AM

tc = torque converter
tps = throttle position sensor

dan33klein 12-27-2009 11:42 AM

keep in mind to that if your putting a a fuel plate at increasing boost, i wouldnt be beating on the stock tranny alot. maby a tc and a valve body in the near future?
depends on all what you wanna do

rzeeinc 12-27-2009 02:06 PM

throttle position sensor

where is located throttle position sensor

daveO 12-27-2009 08:15 PM

The TPS is a small plastic black box attached to the throttle linkage with 2 screws. It has a 3 wire connector that plugs into the end.

:tu:sooner or later it s gonna be the time for a tranny..
whats your opinion on dtt (u have one) and what exacly am i looking for?
i do alot of pulling and soon i will buy a 10 ton trailer for work that i use every day
again thank u for the info

daveO 12-29-2009 07:57 AM

I really like my DTT trans. You also can't go wrong with suncoast or goerend. I would say at the least, you'll be looking for a torque converter and a valve body. I'm sure someone else will chime in here on what you should upgrade, but what I did was found a DTT builder near where I lived at the time and told him my goals and what I did with my truck and he gave me a rundown of all the parts I should upgrade.
