the stock gov springs only fuel to arround 2200 rpms before it starts to defuel, thats what your feeling. You can upgrade your gov springs to a 3k kit that fuels to 2700 - 2800 rpms or a 4k kit that fuels to 3500 - 3600 rpm.

My old 97 in bone stock form would pull hard to 3000rpm's. I would check the fuel press before spending $ on a GSK.

you can get a 4k kit to fuel way past 4000rpm, I have not found out when mine starts to defuel yet and ive had it above 4300rpm

are you talking about a free rev?

I'm talking about under a load ( hooked to a sled in my case) 3500 rpm is all the further the power went with my 4ks.

how heavy of a load? how many clicks did you do?

On the street I can hit 4k easly but on a dyno or a sled pull after 3500 you can feel the truck start to defuel
