a friends of mine has a 98 12 valve and he has a stock turbo (hx35) and his pyro hit 1200 wide open and hes running plateless with nothing done to the afc housing.he also has a cold air intake and a 4in stright pipe..f thats all u do is take the plate out and nothing else u should be ok

 

to take full advantage of a 0 plate or no plate afc mods must be done.

 

i took my plate out and it ran domn good. tuned the afc and it was a whole nother truck. ill prolly never put a plate back in
