BD diesel has a upgraded kit that i am sure is cheaper than the dealers!! they are over priced so you buy a new truck eventually haha not much money selling new ones if ppl can afford to fix the old ones

Until your truck sticks wot and you go into a panic to grab the cable while fling down the road, not to mention what demodriver said.

You will never find another cable hooked up to one of mine, My situation could of been alot worse.

I have a cable on mine at the moment, and I have that same concern. It'll work until I find a good deal on a new solenoid, but yeah I'm not happy with it overall. The other thing is no chance for remote start without it.

Found my problem. It was a bad ground on the harness which ended up frying the shutdown relay. But I have a new solenoid on there now and still need a relay... great news

I think I might have 2 relays around here.....I'll check tomorrow in the am and let you know.
