I just picked up 4k springs as it went into this mode seemingly permanently.... I'll swap springs and take a good luck at all the components while I'm in there.

New 4k springs in (much better then the 2 click twist!) but still the same issue. I'm gonna try and get a fuel pressure guage here shortly as the ones I have available are out of useable range...

Nothing seemed outta place inside as I was installing the springs and checking the gov. components, no marks from the 'ticking' noise as if something was loose and rubbing. Any other idea's?

Working on fuel pressure.... When it runs, it runs great? Not sure if that throws the timing idea out or not...

Lift pumps dead... Gonna grab another guage to double check but mine shows a fluttering 5-10psi at idle and a solid 10psi at 2500rpm until it starts ticking then it immediately drops to 0 and stalls....

Had a brainfart... even at 10psi (on two different gauges) the trucks running and still making power...

Now having the throttle stick, the ticking and rest of the issues I'm leaning towards sticking Barrels/Plungers? I really don't wanna spend $1200 taking it to a pump shop, and have no issue tearing them out myself and going through them all... anything I should be aware of while checking them?

GOT IT FIXED!

So... overflow valve was the issue. The spring was so weak that it let the little retainer loose and it wound up under the ball and was keeping the valve from sealing up. New heavier spring and it's sitting at 30 psi at idle and 45 at 2500+.

Barrel/plungers were sticking due to a lack of fuel... hasn't done it since the repair. Waste of a $255 lift pump, but now I havea spare incase the new one fails...
