na i wont need any help pullin it i was just wanderin if it was easy to do it while on the truck. ive pulled my fair share of starters. never a dodge starter, but i know a 7.3 starter is a biatch because of the top bolt it takes some creative socket wobble and extention combos along with a lot of patience., hopefully the cummins starter is easy to get off.

got mine all done up, starts up faster now... and no more problems yet. it was easy to pull the starter just used a 12 point 10mm wrench and got it off. youll need a 10mm 12point for the starter to block bolts, a 15mm for the starter wire, 8mm for the small starter wire and the 3 bolts on the selenoid back and lastly a 17mm for the contact studs. thats it. so all the tools youll need are a 10mm, 8mm, 15mm and a 17mm and youve got it done in about 20 minutes!

So my truck had started fine one night, parked it, and not even two minutes later went to move the truck, and she didn't even try to start. Clicked like batteries were dead, but gauges showed battery was fine. Tried starting again and didn't even click when trying to start. Everything will turn on, just not start. Starter is out, or even connections for starter?
