Default 4x4 acuator

i looked under neith my rig today and noticed that a vaccum line? off the acuator on the front axle was broke. the fitting on the acuator was rusted and broke in have. parts still clamped in the rubbber part. can i replace that fitting? or do i need a whole new acuator?

You'll need a whole new actuator but there's a cable orpeated one that's supposed to be the best replacment for it and its not that expensive if I remember right get ahold of dr evil he knows where to get it from. I think genos has it but I could be wrong

You can also you an actuator off of the newer dodges to up to 02, But you will have to change the arm inside that actives the four wheel drive.

install a posiloc system ,put mine on after the third time I got stuck and the vacum junk would not workthe cable is a sure thing took about an hour to install on the hoist would take a little longer on your back

I think I like that one better. About $100.00 higher but dont have to worry about vacuam

I found the posi-lok system cheaper on ebay than there own site but the ebay suppliers would not ship to me in Canada,bought mine from a local shop for the same price as on the posi-lok site in can.funds w/no shipping,check your local shops or try a quote thread from one of the db vendors,the bd kit still requires you to replace your vacum pot and needs vacum to operate

i have the posi lock system on my 96 it works great had no problem installing in a aftenoon its the best i have found it works great its either in or out theres no question wether your locked in or not

lockout hub and CAD delete kit from ems the best there is
