here is a better question ... how much power are you looking for? and what do you plan to do with the truck?

mn97cummins 10-28-2009 05:22 PM

i drive it every day. once in a while pull a trailer. so as much power as i can with out spending to much money

94 12valve 10-28-2009 05:34 PM

ok well for starters you have a 180 hp ppump and a built auto.

I would add a set of gauges, intake, exhaust, tune your afc, a 10 plate, and bump your timing. that should be a good start

100 plate all the way

94 12valve 10-28-2009 06:41 PM

I have never understood why everyone on here loves that 100 plate so much? I have ran one and was not impressed

Whit 10-28-2009 06:43 PM

its stock on takeoff so its easy on the running gear then its like a zero from there or no plate at all

94 12valve 10-28-2009 06:48 PM

the same can be done with afc tuning ... you sure your gov arm is hitting the bottom of the plate at all? sounds to me like is rideing on the afc till it hits the 0 part of the 100

mn97cummins 10-29-2009 08:54 AM

so do i have to adjust the gov arm when i change the plate
