heater grid delete
my question is for yall that have them on yours, howhard is it to start in the winter when u plug ur truck in at night. im making one but dont know if i will leave it in over winter, or just for the upcoming dyno, then pull it back out untill next spring. right now i can just bump the starter and it will fire right up with out the grid heater having a chance to cycle?
your gonna gain like maybe 2 horsepower by deleting the grid, i dont see any reason to do this mod...
I have been saying the same thing for years and keep getting into disagreements about that very same deal.....
i remember last winter at work it was like right around 0* actual temp and my truck wasnt plugged in...holy crap what a shakin, missin, smokin thing i think it took 6 tries to get to stay running and that is with the grid heater
