Default stack makin a mess

ive got a 4in single stack and it is spewing all kinds of soot all over my truck. is this normal?

yeah its one of the perils of having a stack you can flat cut and throw a flapper on there and you will be good to go...most of the mess comes from rain getting down it there

iowa 80 sells the rain caps for miter cuts... 180 a pop IIRC

yeah id rather use a plastic bag and a rubber band then pay 180 for a rain cap for my mitre stack

be sure to use a metal can other wise yuou'll have a nice melted plastic mess all over your pretty stack

Ya, or you can use a 30 rack box, they last about 2 or 3 rain storms......Thats what we use up north
