does anyone know if there is anyone that can chip a 97 cummins.. what else can i do to get more power... i have turbo injectors

no you cantthe earliest turck cummins wise you can chip would be the 98.5.... i would put a cold air intake, 5 in straight pipe exhaust, dvs, mack rack plug, water/meth injection... what size turbo and injectors do you have? get bigger injectors

start with pyrometer and boost guage. put in a #10 or 100 fuel plate then learn how to tune your afc. is it a auto or 5 speed? go easy on the fuel if tranny is stock!!!!!

the truck is my buddys he bought the truck with the bd turbo and it had injectors in it.. the truck has a auto upgraded.. suncoast converter suncoast cutches.. i dont know the size of the injectors but why does the truck stall if he puntches it.. if he sits there and revs the truck its fine but if he puts load on it and then lets off it stalls... thanks alot

idle could just be abit low, also may be a combination of the trans being upgraded and locked tight and the low idle it's just dragging the truck down... bump up the idle and see where it gets you

Sounds like it needs some pump adjustments. Idle, GSK and so on, It could be the injector, depending on what size and who made it. I'd say Tower of Power is right on with idle!

is it a bd super b or the super b special? ... and I thought all diesels came with injectors in them? sorry I had to
