im replacing my starter before winter gets here and i seems pretty straigh forword... go in from under the drivers side... loosen a few bolts... take off the battery connections and put the new 1 on... is it really that easy??? also nytips would be cool!!!

there not realy that hard to change at all. i disconect the battery cables, then i take off the cables to the starter, then i losen the bottom just a hair, then take the middle then then the top. that easy. good luck

how bout putting the new one on?? just snug the bolts up then tighten them down??

yep. the top bolt is a bit of a bugger to get to but aint that hard

If you can rebuild it yeah...and i changed mine in the autozone parking lot so i didnt have to pay the core charge so no its not hard at all

Just put new contacts and plunger in mine yesterday. Not a bad job at all. Did it for less than $20

id did the rebuild kit in mine a few weeks ago an was able to do it in the parkinglot at the ups store when i got them in

That blows take it back because i went through 2 starters before i told them to stick it and rebuild mine.
