and like bad *** said he is getting good fuel economy, why not my truck!!
And I am hoping that you do not believe his numbers.....

I have been around 12v's long enough to know that 4.10's + 295's do not equal 22mpg around town.Almost need to raise the BS *** on that comment.

I can also tell you without making a mistake that you would NEVER get 18mpg out of a V10 Dodge.Well,I guess I could be wrong,IF you dropped it off the edge of a tall cliff you might but that would be all.V10 Dodges are notorious for 12-14mpg at best and when towing 8-12mpg.They are well known for passing everything in sight EXCEPT for a gas station. The one I used to own got a whopping 14mpg on a good day with a tail wind and when you hooked up the enclosed sprint car trailer it barely did 10mpg.

At 600hp to the ground my 12v 5spd truck with 3.54's and 315 tires will do about 14-17 around town and on the interstate it will do 17-20.Too many things are variable and how you drive it is one of the biggest things.Drive it hard and watch the fuel gage drop, take it easy and progressive drive it and you may squeak some decent milage out of it.With all the add ons on my truck when I weighed it last year it tipped the scale at almost 7700lbs so anything 17 and above for milage I consider myself fortunate.

But I will also be the first to admit that I could care less about what milage I get,I just get in a drive and when the bell dings..Its fuel time..........Andy

Diesel power mag did a test where the almost got 30 with a 12 v. They carborded the radiator folded in the mirror and kept the truck at 55 with the boost below 5. Here's the thing the more boost you put out cruisin sown the hwy is not good if your pushin ten its bad that will kill mileage kep it low like 5 or 6 and youl be ok you gotta remember more boost means you're puttin more fuel to the motor wich we all know kills mpgs and besides if you're looking to build a 6 or 700 hp truck who really cares about mpgs do you think those guys buildin 69 chargers with blown 426 hemis and 1000 horse really care about the fact the get 5 miles to a tank

I guess you think I just got off the Banana Boat yesterday 94????....

I actually believe alot, but, when the BS is getting deep and your confusing a new owner I will tend to try and help them out no matter if it makes you look like a fool or not.Actually,I do not even have to do that as you make yourself look like a fool without my help many times.I think you feel somehow that I am not one who has been down many of these roads and I am a newbie,wrong....

19-21 on 3.54's and 35's is believable if your highway driving but it will be lower around town as the 35's kill you there. If you think that someone is getting near 25mpg with 4.10's and heavy fueling mods with tall tires and a automatic, then we will all understand your lack of math skills.Of course you are the one 94 who claims your stick will outrun a simularly equipped automatic truck who doesn't have to shift and only needs to plant his foot down,NOT!...Nuff said.

You guys need to think about how you post when a new owner asks a question.By filling him with a line of bullschizz makes them think something is wrong with their truck which ends up not being any help to them at all.
