Default fuel leak

parked at school today saw a puddle when done with class. sure enough it was diesel. crawled up in there when i got home. the fuel return line where it goes into the fitting is like rusted out or something. the elbows not secure. when i start my truck and idle it the elbow bounces. any suggestions on how to fix this?

return line at what point of the truck? hugging the block behind the filter housing? or the elbow right at the pump? or it could be elsewhere.. if it's the hard line behind/in back of the filter housing there are supposed to be two brackets that hold it in place, and the hard line from the injection pump back has a single support that is just about right under the intake manifold elbow. or are you talking about the line that is on the frame rail, has the quick disconnect and a rubber hose that run over top of the starter... if it is rusted out... simply take the quick disconnect loose from the hard line on the block; and cut the line on the frame rail. get afew feet of 5/16 rubber hose and some clamps... it's under pressure but is isnt anything crazy. then secure it to where ever that it wont rub through on anything

its not anywhere on the line. the line is fine. its the little elbow on top of the tank. the elbow pulses up and down on top of the tank at an idle. is there a way to fix that and stop the leak without dropping the tank or pulling the bed?

oh... that... hmmm there was a thread on here with a link in it... the guy sells the replacment inlets... looks better and last longer than factory and it doesnt cost and arm and a leg b/c you dont have to buy the whole basket... as for the repair itself; you have to drop the tank... pulling the bed is just as much if not more work than the tank.
