Question Looking @ Buying a 12v

Is there anything I should be aware of? The truck in question is a 98, 3/4, auto, shortbed, with 148,000 on it. The truck is all stock according to the current owner? He wants $10,900 for it. The only defect is the (L) front fender has a dent in it.

Is it a quad cab?

98 12 valves had 53 block so check that.

The only real way to tell if a pump has been messed with is if the break off screw is on the pump along with the wire covering the back panel and the gov spring hole. Also any paint off the lines above the AFC. Even with the break off screw on you can have an after market plate.

I paid around 14K for mine about two years ago with 102K
