Default pump timing

Im just getting ready to install my pump on my 95 im building and I wanted to ask you guys what would be the best timing for it. It will have #0 plate and 100 hp injectors to start with the head is ringed and studded. Also when you guys talk about advancing the timing a certain amount of degrees how do you determine what a degree is? is 1 degree equal to one tooth on the pump gear??

mm lift in the pump

Stock head no more than 17* on a studded and o-ringed head you can do a lot more (not sure how high) I would stay around 20-22 on the street.

I'm at 22.5* with at studed and o ringed head but my injectors have a narrowed spray pattern and I'm running the .020 washers so I'm easly still in the bowl... I would stay arround the 17 - 18* range
