ok well i appreciate it man i got to try to replace the charger this weekend so hopefully that will help with the power.

imho i would say go to your local diesel performance shop and ask for a old plate that they swapped out .they should have a few lying around ,grind one of those to a #0 profile and see how u like it. just a thought

I would not do that without having a pyrometer and boost guage.

i ran mine on stock turbo no egt for two years with a #0 plate no problems,after installing egt i started to get worried. devintly runs hot but it was fun

yeah; the cummins engine is tough but as with all metals... heat isnt its friend. i'm going to chip in with everyone else and say pyro at the VERY VERY least... a boost gauge to go with it would be the correct route. but hunter got lucky that he didnt melt down. if you can pre-turbo the pyro much much more accurate and it's better than going by the 2-300* hotter rule of thumb used for post turbo

he's right i did get luckybut if you do go my route dont plan on it being permantcant tell you ur **** will melt but i wont tell you it wont either just a thought
