Default NEW TO THE DIESEL GAME

HELLO, BOMBERS.... WANTED TO SAY YOU GUYS ARE GREAT AND ME BEING A NEWBE TO THE DIESEL GAME I HAVE LEARNED ALOT FROM YOU GUYS! THANKS

I HAVE A 95 DODGE 2500 SINGLE CAB LONG BED WITH ONLY 64,000 MILES ALL STOCK I ORDERD MY GAUGES LIKE YOU GUYS RECOMMENDED BEFORE ANY MODS,,,(I PAYED ATTENTION FOR ONCE) NOW WHAT DO I DO WITH THESE THINGS I HAVE THE PYRO,BOOST AND TRANNY TEMP GAUGES FROM GLOWSHIFT PLEASE GIVE SOME INSTRUCTIONS ON WHERE THE PROBES GO FOR PYRO AND TRANNY TEMP AND WHERE WOULD BE THE BEST PLACE FOR THE THE BOOST READING ,,,,, PLEASE BE SPECIFIC AND PICTURES OR HOW TO INSTALLS WOULD BE GREAT.

for the boost there is a plug under the air horn on the engine get a adapter and u put it there. pyro in the manifold towards the back lest bd there is like a fin or some thin in the middle or some thin. go to the search thing there are pics floatin around here

should come with instructions... but the exhaust probe you have to drill and tap the exhaust manifold right before the trubo. when you drill it do not drill the hole in the middle you have offset it to either the front or the back, I offset it to the back cuz the rear cylenders tend to run hotter than the front 3.

THANKS FOR THE INFO GUYS,,,, I GOT THE TRANNY, EGT, AND BOOST GAUGES IN FINALLY
TIME TO TEST IT OUT,,,, HEY SKYJAcked I THINK YOU DONT WANNA DRILL IN THE MIDDLE BECAUSE THERE I A PLATE OR FIN THERE ,,,, I THINK

oic. lucky, wana do mine? i got mine in and the pod all mounted just didnt dare 2 do the drillin or placement. so i have gauges that dont work

SKYJACK... IF I CAN DO IT ANYBODY CAN,,, WAS MY FIRST INSTALL WENT PRETTY WELL, TAKE YOUR TIME AND YOU WILL BE FINE...... I WOULD HELP YOU YOU IF YOUR CLOSE BY.

OK BOMBERS... I TESTED OUT MY TRUCK WITH STOCK FUEL PLATE FULL FORWARD AND I MAXED OUT AT 11 PSI ,,,, CAME HOME LET IT COOL DOWN AND SWITCHED PLATE FROM STOCK TO #100 NOT FULL FORWARD BUT ALMOST AND I MAXED OUT AT 21 PSI BOOST
I HAVENT MESSED WITH THE SCREW ON TOP OF afc QUESTION IIS SHOULD I ADJUST THIS? WILL GET BETTER PERFORMANCE? I AM GETTING SMOKE ON INITIAL THROTTLE, SOMEBODY SCHOOL ME MY EGT NEVER GOT OVER 900

if you never got over 900*than you are not getting the plates full potential.i was getting up around 1200*before i did any major mods,that was with a #100 plate.

go all the way foreward and push the afc all the way foreward too.it sounds like you need to check for boost leaks if moving that foreward doesn't give you at least 25-30psi.
