95 auto trans
Guy's just had a rebuild on my tranny, the problem is from a stop it takes forever to get going. It would die in drive &rev. I set the idle up but acts the same from a stop just takes awhile to get moveing. The rebuilder thinks it's the motor, had valves adj, no better. The man the did the valves said he didn't think the turbo was working right, but that would have notheing to do with the bottom end. He thinks i got a bad T.C. You mess with this every day what do you think.HELP THANKS Dave

Well what did they rebuild on the trans and I hope you didn't take it to aamco if its stallin the engine there a few things goin wrong one is the tc is locked up and that's way not good the other is that the bands have come loose seeing is the truck don't want to move another problem is one of the shafts in the trans is froze up not likley but possible those 47rhs are tough but when they break they break if it just got rebuilt like you said the only other thing I can think of is the guy screwed you

They said a complet rebuild with beefer tc. The motor has almost 300 thou on it dosen't use oil. the pedal seems kind of hard, put it down in 1st pedal to the floor wont spin the tires. After you get to rolling it seems to shift alright, but i think the turbo isn't right can't hear the whistle. I pull water trailer & pipe trailer to the drilling rig.seems not to bad when you get t 2nd but frist you think you will never get going. Pulled into a dry soft field had to put in 4low to go. The man said if its the tc he would fix it, shouldn't he know buy driving it? Heck i'm a well driller, all i know is it takes for ever to get to 2nd gear. Thanks Dave
