Im putting a matching gear set in the front dana 44 to match the 3.55 in the rear.Ive got my pinion depth set properly,but i measured my gear lash and its .015".The manual says spec is .004"-.009".This is the front end so its not gonna be used that much.Does anybody have any feedback on this issue?Is this gonna be to loud?The front isnt as easy as the back.The front needs to have the races pulled and shimmed to the proper side.

 

well too sloppy can cause uneven wear and or damage to the gears. idk that i would run it that way. it could def. be loud.
