i have a spring clip for the slave cylinder side but im wondering if there is suppose to be a clip for the pivot side of the fork also should i bolt the bell housing up to the tranny before i mount it back to the motor or should i do them seperate

 

when i did my clutch it was easyer to put the bellhousing on the engine to get the clutch aligned then slide the tranny in rather than the bellhousing on the tranny, there should be a spring clip on the ball pivot but not the slave
