ok i would have started the truck up today if i wouldnt have threw away my intake gaskets. napa wasnt able to get them and i dont want to wait to drive the truck till next weekend. i was wonding if anyone has a special trick for the gaskets between the grid heater and intake. has anyone ever made any? silicone?

 

Just get a roll of gasket material and cut your own.

 

ok, will that support 50psi boost or should i just wait and get a set of the coreect ones?

a parts box lid will do just fine, especially if you're talkin about usng it as a temporary fix...

 

i went ahead and just ordered the right ones

 

Mines holding 49psi just fine

 

im sure they would work doing it that way but cummins had the for $1.90 a piece
