Default Turn up pump?

Ive got a 94 12valve 4x4 5spd reg cab long bed with 190600 miles on it. the only thing ive have done to it is straight pipe and air filter. would it hurt anything to turn the pump up with that many miles on the truck?

you need an EGT gauge so you don't melt the turbo, but besides that your fine.
Eventually your gonna want more air, but for a decent increase just get an EGT gauge and crawl around here on pump mods.

actually you need an egt(pyrometer)gauge to keep from melting your pistons.always remember just cause the gauge reads 1600*don't mean it's ok to maintain that.aluminum melts at 1250*,and that's what your pistons are made of!

or you can melt the pistons by putting cardboard in the radiator towing up a grade
