hi guys ever since i installed my fuel plate my throttle has been sticking on my truck. i went ahaed and got the recall parts all taken care of. it semmed good for a few days. and now its starting to act up again. my dealer says it must be not in the cable or linkage since they just replaced it all. even tho somestuff looks like the old stuff. thanks

 

what stuff still looks old? Iv had a couple friends with this problem. when you put your new plate in did you put it in the stock position or did you slide it? Iv seen them slid to far causing the throttle to stick. If not it might be your cable where it goes through the firewall, or check the cruise control cable it hangs up sometimes too, those are the only places iv ran into your type of problem maybe that will help you out

 

thanks im gunna mess with the plate i think move it back some.
but the thinkage part idk. they told me to bring it back but if it isnt doing it at the time that is worthless

maybe your shut off solinoid is binding up on something, check to make sure everything is free and moves smoothly under the hood, also the return springs could have broke....
