yep try and make them as straight as you can (meaning the angle of the bar)

Not a correct statement.....
Length has zero to do with the way they work, material will though.

Darryl Poole's bars are only about 4' in length,if that, and they are on alot of high HP Mid-Western pullers trucks and get abused and used with zero issues.I had a set on mine log ago and dicthed them for the Longer look of the Old School EEP bars and wish I would have keep the Poole bars instead. The longer bars are a PIA to work around when detailing the underside for shows and when you want to service the truck.

BTW 94cummins12v....
I'd bet money you do NOT have 11ft long bars on your truck at all.The ones on mine are 98 inches and stretch from the rear axle all the way to where the transmission crossmember is located. If yours were 11ft long then they would mount at the locating points for the front suspension. At times your posts are so full of BS they are no help at all...... I was thinking of making mine 6' long and out of 1.5" solid round bar. How does this sound to everyone?

don't make them out of solid,i work in a machinery manufactureing plant in design.and it is a proven fact that tubing has less flex than solid.
