Run "ASHLESS" two stroke oil. Stay away from ATF and used motor oil.

Actually, Cummins says you can run up to 5% used OIL...I used to have a link to their site FAQ but I cant find it. And that is on my 12V...so the pump is a lot more durable and is designed to run on alternate fuels (unlike the VP-44)
