I run 2 stroke. No problems yet...keeps the barrels and plungers lubed.

I know that ULSD has lube put back in...but I still dont feel good running without an additive. I sometimes run a gallon of used oil in the summertime (on my 12V only)

I use a quart of tranny fluid as an additive in the fuel during a fill up or sometimes Lucas fuel additive about every 4 fill ups.

It's expensive, but I've been running hydraulic oil the last couple months. So far so good.

wat are the best oils to use? are there any that would actually help break up deposits and build up?

It's not so much for abating carbon buildup, but more for lubricity. 2 stroke oil has petrolium distillates in it to help with carbon build up. But be careful, don't run anything with alcohol in it.

if you want to decrease carbon get water/meth the best addatives are to clean the injectors or lube everything up

the friction additives in atf can COULD cause problems in the long run. i dont do it. because of this and no one has do any long term testing on it to see the effects. but i have been told By a person who helped design the 12v and 24v if you have a vp44 going bad put a quart of atf in it and order a new pump. so i guess it COULD lube it for a lil.
