Default beefin up the tranni

by seein wat i have done to my truck so far in my sig wat is my best bet to make my tranni to handle the lil bit of extra power. a valve body or wat?

buy a full tranny form from one of the tranny makes you looking at $4500. or a tc and shift kit your looking at $2000. i would save for full tranny.

Triple disc converter, valve body, servo lever, deep pan with extra capacity.

IIRC, it's a lever that applies the tension to the bands during shifting. You normally replace it with a billet one. Also a good idea to replace the accumulator piston. The stock one is plastic...

I called a local DTT dealer/builder, and talked to him. He built my trans, told me about all of those parts. I ended up getting the accumulator piston, the apply lever, upgraded clutch packs...all that good stuff.

Dave Goerend is the guy you want to talk to in my opinion, he isn't cheap but worth every penny in my mind

5-7K for a built trans. Goerend, Suncoast and HTS. Give them all a call and see what ya think.
