im curious cuz i have a 94 chevy w/6.5 and just bought a running 97 12v for $1500, not the whole truck but everything i need to for the swap.

are there any little odd ball things things that i have to have that are located somewhere else besides under the hood or in the dash?

is it a five spd or auto, if its a 5spd you have the 215hp engine, honestly you stole its so it doesn't matter, but IMO a running 94-98 12v is worth about double that.

 

yeah its got the 5spd in it is that the good or bad motor?

 

there is no bad 12v the 97 5 speed has a bigger pump on it than the auto or previous years for more fuel

i've been reading on how to turn up the pump but its kinda confusing.
i guess once i get the motor actually in my truck ill understand more about this stuff.

just watched the parsley diesel video on the ddp plate kit and it makes sense now.
