Default 44lbs of boost

how bad is it if i hit 44lbs on my stock turbo.. fyi- it is hitting 44 when i'm floored from 0mph, it actually jumps to 44 from like 35 when it shifts into overdrive

thats about the max yer head gasket will take................some different than others but yer borderline there

someone told me a stock turbo can only take like up to 35lbs

ya there only good to 35lbs anything more and your heating the air to much.

The intercooler can't cool the intake air enough to make it efficient. I can hit over 1500 with out a problem. Praying for a s300 but first I gotta do the trans.

there good till 40lbs they will do more for a little bit but not for long. After 35psi they make heat not power.

40lbs is pushing it with the head gasket too, unless you have head studs.

no i dont have head studs. so i'm taking my truck to a diesel shop tomorrow, do you think they can fine tune it so that it wont hit so much boost??

or you could just move the plate and afc housing back and save your self some money
