another option to try and get some of the play out is to adjust the box. there is a nut on the top of the box i think it is a 5/8 or something. loosen that nut a little bit and then the bold is an allen and you turn that in a little bit and re-tighten the 5/8 and go drive it and see if it helped. if you go too far in your steering will feel sticky like it wont want to come back to center. if it is already to close to maxed out then the box is totally shot but you might as well try adjusting it before buying a new one. i went through my entire front end a month ago replaced all tie rods, ball joints, new dt profab trackbar and steeering brace and a new steering box. its much better but i probably should have looked for a better box then a reman.
