makin it pretty under the hood

i want to trick it out and make it black and chrome or black and red. wat do you guys think? could i get more stuff one color than the other? what can i paint or get colored?

the valve covers and intake elbow are aluminum I seen a guy use a tiger paw on a grinder and took the paint off and had them polished looked pretty nice. I painted mine a prowler green and flat black looks awesome

I think polished valve covers look awesome. Whats the best way to go about doing it?

I would bead blast them then take them down with some fine grit sand paper. once you get them smooth start polishing them with some polishing compound on a buffer.
