he may not have plug the signal line for the wastgate i would check that my truck will never go back to zero when i let off it will go down to 4psi or so but no less. my buddys auto is the same way. so i would say to have a boost leak somewhere

Im thinking about getting a 64/14/71 with a non waste gated housing. Just weld an external waste gate on the manifold. I was told the turbo will work better that way. Also with that setup it will smoke more , even though thats not a good thing it sure is fun to do to **** people off. I have had people move out they way of my smoke cloud.

Nothing wrong with not having a gate just dont get above 40psi... much

Mine goes to Zero when I let off if the lock up switch is off. If theres no load on the engine then there shouldnt be boost in an auto. In a stick or witha lock up your still pinning the engine and making a few punds 3 or 4 but in mine like I said it will go to zero. doesnt matter if im doing 25 or 115 it will drop to zero.

Whats your hp goal? If I had to do it again I would have a 66/71 or 66/74 on my truck .

Or you can get one of thoes blow off valves you weld into your inter cooler. then just set it for 35psi you will be good to go.

My Hp goal with a single charger is 550, but i still tow a fifth wheel. With twins I want to hit 600 on diesel, maybe some spray but i was told if i want longevity out of my motor to stay away from the spray. So i might just stick to water alcohol

i have an auto, and if i let off the pedal no matter how fast i'm goin it will drop to zero, but at 55 or 60 cruisin,it will boost about 5psi.since your wastegate is plugged you had better watch your gauges fixed you get those leaks fixed, cause i'm sure that's what your problem is.
