Default Single wheel to a dually

I have a single wheel truck right now but going to make it a dually... I have a dana 70 in it is there anyway that i can just buy longer wheel stud or should I just try to trade my 70 for a 80? I got a really good deal on a 01 bed for 300.00 buck. Any ideas for me? Don't really know where to start?

the dually axle is 2" wider on each side to keep the tires from hitting the springs I was told

correct.

you are better off trading for a dually axle. also the dually axle has larger brakes

Just get a dually kit off ebay. there not much money and an easy install...but if you can get a dually axle with the right gears that would be the best way to do it.
