hey guys. once in a while for some reason my throttle gets stuck at ABOUT 1300 rpms and i cant get it back to an idle unless i pop the hood and manualy grab it and pull it back to an idle. then if i shut it off and come back out the next morning its good to go for about 4 days than it will do it again. any sugestions?

 

i had that problem a year ago. there is a spring on the p-pump that returns the throttle back to the bottom its on the driver side rear of the pump. you can get a replacement at napa for aroung $5 has your throttle linkage been replaced under the dodge recal

 

ill look into that spring. im not sure when i got a carfax report when i bough the truck it showed were it had a recall. but idk if it was ever replaced

call dodge and give them the vin number and they will tell you every recal that has been taken care of
