Witch company is better Valair or Southbend alot of guys around here are running SB but only one guy has said anything about Valair. ( he also said that he would install one for 1300 bucks too) I guess what I am saying is that I have heard more good things about SB then Valair but would be willing to try the Valair if I knew more about there rebutation. any advise would be good
you would be dumb to buy a single disk clutch for $1300 installed thats $500 just for instalation. there was a guy hear that wanted $150 for a dual disk install. it took me about 8-10 man hours to swap mine out

doing a clutch yourself is not hard at all if you have simple tools the hardest things is probably getting the cross member out.

we use a air ram to spread the frame a bit and the cross member drops out.

I figured out that if you knock the cross member up a bit , it will slide out the back and just reinstall it in reverse order. Grant it you need to use a little dead blow hammer to convince it but it was much easier. JMO!
