Where is the best place to tap for boost pressure

you shouldnt have to tap anywhere, i think there is a plug on the side of the intake manifold and put a fitting in there that conects to your guage tubing

their is a 1/8npt port on the intake portion of the head. If you look towards the engine near the 6th high pressure line on the injection pump you should see it. Thie ir also another one a little farther back on the intake which is commonly used for the afc

Dont have a proper pic, but these are the appx locations of the ports on the head.

Just follow the line back towards the head from the AFC housing, their will be another identicle port a few inches more forward.

Sorry I dont have a pic - but there is a 1/8" npt fitting on the drivers side of the head (near the front). Pull the plug out and install a 1/8" fitting - thats all you need to measure boost (other than the guage obviously).
